In our previous blog, we looked at the picture starting to unfold in the book of Isaiah 6. This part of scripture, where the train of the robe of Abba Father filled the temple.
If we continue in the vision that Isaiah saw, we read that the prophet sees Seraphim. The Hebrew root word for Seraphim literally means “to be on fire” or “fiery beings by which all earthly corruption is opposed and destroyed”. These Seraphim cry “holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Hosts” (Isaiah 6:3). Scripture continues to say that each of them had 6 wings. Two with which they covered their face or eyes. The Hebrew meaning of this entails the glorious fact that they covered their eyes and face because they could not look upon the holiness of Abba Father. With two they covered their feet or lower part of their body. The Hebrew meaning entails that, any attempt of movement, on their own accord or strength, in the presence of the King of kings, will be a movement or act of “nothingness” or worthlessness. The verse continues to say with two wings they flew. The Hebrew image of this sketches the picture of being in obedience to every word that is spoken from the mouth of God.
Reading this verse in the Hebrew language you see that these divine beings proclaiming through their action that they could not look unto the holiness of God, that they would move nowhere if not under His guidance but that they would obey every word that precedes form His mouth. This reminds us of what Moses said in Exodus 33:15 when he said “Lord if Your presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.”
The moment the train of Abba Father filled the temple, Isaiah experiences something incredible and, in studying the Hebrew meaning of this verse we see another breath-taking revelation. We continue to read
Isaiah 6:4:
“And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.”
The original Hebrew word, translated as posts, is the word “Ammah”. ”Ammah” means, the base of a door or place where you enter. Door, is the Hebrew word “Saph” which, although it means door, also describes an action of limitation (a door is not always open, it is after all a door that can limit one from entering as well, right?). It also means hesitation. That action of waiting on the threshold because there is a limitation that blocks one to enter and it causes you to hesitate. The Hebrew word translated as the English word – moved, is the word “Nu’ah” which means to move or shift in a trembling. It portrays an action of something that moves through a shaking or trembling.
The last word we want to look at is the word Hebrew concept of the English word – smoke. Consistently, through the word of Abba Father smoke is used to describe two attributes of God. Firstly, when you read Exodus 19 you see this image, or you read about the temple in Revelation 15:8, you see smoke forming an integral part of the glorious presence of God. Secondly, in scripture, we see the word smoke, used as a picture of the holy anger of Abba Father, that is raised in a battle against that which binds His children (2 Samuel 22:9; Isaiah 9:18-19).

The moment the authority of the Most High God enters your life (fills your life) you will experience the fullness of His presence, you will be satisfied and content in Him, consecrated (set apart) for Him, fenced in His protection, confirmed in your purpose and armed for spiritual warfare because of His authority released in His presence. Every- and anything that limits you from entering His presence will be moved in a trembling and shaking as His holy anger is kindled to rise in battle against the enemy that tries to bind His children”.
Glory Hallelujah to the King of kings! The word of Abba Father is a living word. We now understand why Paul writes to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 10), that the things that happened to the children of God in the Old Testament, are there for examples and warnings to us so that we can pay attention not to fall in the same, as the culmination of the ages come.
Head knowledge without His presence, merely causes us to become more religious. Religion divides the bride of Christ, as it mixes man’s opinion with the word of God. The result will always be division, or as we call it, denomination. We have to allow the word of God to explain the word of God. Abba Father doesn’t need my input, emotions or “earthly wisdom” to bring clarity to His divine word. It is relationship with love Himself (1 John 4:8b) that unites the bride of Christ and it is His word that washes and cleanses us (Ephesians 5:26) and the truth we know that sets us free (John 8:32).
