Electrical Engineering
NATIONAL DIPLOMA: N4 ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
Course Overview
This course is the classic (traditional) electrical artisan course. The course enables the student to work with heavy electrical currents (for electricity and domestic wiring, industrial and civil industries) and light electrical currents (such as used for required for digital and industrial electronics). The qualification is aimed primarily at giving learners technical, theoretical, practical and workplace knowledge and skills required in their chosen occupational/vocational area.
The qualification as a single entity has value in the workplace as it equips learners with vital knowledge and skills that enable them to be productively employed at entry level positions in an occupation. The qualification can be used for updating, upskilling and/or continuing education and training in related occupations.
Global Availability
This course is specially designed for distant learning (also known as e-Learning).
At EMET we make use of modern e-Learning technology, utilising our Virtual Classroom as the main method of distant learning.
